No it's not either yes or no. Unlike any merchandise that is purchasable in the open market, which one can easily tell whether he likes it or not, feelings for a person can be uncertain. It can be both positive and negative and it can also be that neither one of them is dominant. A person can miss another person dearly at one moment, but at the immediately succeeding moment this positive feeling can be drowned by fear or frustration or insecurity originating from the thought of this other person. In other words, while the negative feeling definitely can't outweigh the liking, the liking isn't so intense that it obliterates those negative feelings. It's not that simple.
